Who I Support
I work with parents, carers, and families navigating the challenges of early parenthood, including premature birth, fertility journeys, birth trauma, baby loss, and long-term child health needs. I also support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bonding difficulties, Autism, and ADHD.
How I Work
I believe supporting parents in their own emotional wellbeing is key to helping the whole family thrive. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each family’s unique journey.
I draw on evidence-based approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Compassion-focused approaches
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Specialist perinatal and parental mental health interventions
Professional Background and Qualifications
I am a Clinical Psychologist with extensive NHS experience working with parents of babies born prematurely who may have experienced a NICU hospital stay. My specialist focus is maternal mental health and the path to parenthood.
Beyond the Therapy Room
I am passionate about parental wellbeing and family life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my own family and supporting initiatives that promote awareness of perinatal mental health.
