About Me
I’m Becca, a Clinical Psychologist with many years of experience working with children, young people, and adults across NHS and charitable services, supporting people with their mental health and healing from traumatic experiences.

Who I Support
Children, Young People, Parents/Families, and Adults

Common concerns
I have experience working with various mental health needs, including anxiety, self-esteem, stress, low mood, and many more

Areas of clinical interest
Neurodiversity (ASC/ADHD) and trauma

How I Work
My approach is person-centred and integrative, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which allows me to adapt therapy to suit the person I am working with.

Clients often describe my approach as friendly, compassionate, and quite fun! When starting therapy, I believe it is important to focus on building trust and getting to know you, so that our sessions are tailored to your needs, interests, and values. My role is to work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to support you in taking steps toward positive changes.

Professional Background and Qualifications
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), University of Surrey
BSc in Psychology, Higher Second Class Honours
Five years’ experience in NHS mental health and charitable services
Foundation training in CBT, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Systemic family therapy, and trauma-informed approaches

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of work, I’m quite a homebody. I love to cook/bake, watch a good Netflix series, and spend time with family including my very cuddly cats. I find having a routine and consistency so helpful; having time to relax and recharge each day is essential for maintaining wellbeing.
