About Me
I have several years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults with a wide range of psychological difficulties. I have worked across the NHS, local authority, and charity sectors, supporting individuals and families through a variety of challenges. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and encouraging – I aim to create a space that feels safe, non-judgemental, and productive, helping clients explore difficulties at their own pace while working toward meaningful change.

How I Work
My approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and systemic approaches. I aim to balance practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life with space for deeper reflection and understanding. I aim to bring a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental style to therapy. I focus on building trust and creating a therapeutic environment that feels both safe and empowering, where clients can explore challenges, develop self-awareness, and build confidence in their own strengths.

Professional Background and Qualifications
– Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) – University of Surrey
– MSc in Forensic Psychology – University of Kent
– BSc in Psychology – University of Birmingham
– Specific training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), systemic approaches, and the AIM3 assessment model
– Experience across NHS, local authority, and charitable settings

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of work, I try to balance a love for fitness with a love for cake and chocolate! I also love animals and nature, as well as getting lost in a good book.
