Who Am I
I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working in NHS,
local authority and independent psychology services. I specialise in working
with emotional difficulties linked to having survived traumatic experiences,
with particular focus on providing psychological support in the perinatal
period, to parents of children of any age and to adults touched by adversity,
for example bereavement, whether relatively recently or historically.

How I Work
I see the therapy process as a bespoke co-creation between by client and I.
I adjust the pace, focus and nature of the therapy work to each client I
support. I take establishing safe and relaxed rapport with my clients very
seriously and seek regular feedback on the experience of me and my work
throughout the therapy journey.

Therapy Types I Draw on in my Work
– Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
– Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
– Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
– Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)
– Video Interaction Guidance (VIG)
– Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Beyond the Therapy Room
I have various interest from languages, competitive exercise (lately Hyrox),
meditative practices, playing on my keyboard, and supporting marginalised
communities.
