I have extensive experience working within the NHS, private sector and specialised charities with adults who suffer from eating disorders, long-term and enduring depression and anxiety, trauma and complex PTSD, perinatal mental health issues, work and university-related stress, and life transitions.
In my therapeutic approach, I use evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and psychodynamic models. I can also provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating disorders (CBT-E), short-term focused CBT-T and the Freed approach, which was specifically designed for young adults, including university students with early onset eating disorders.
I aim to provide a non-judgemental, compassionate and safe space where building a trust-based relationship with you is essential in my practice. My priority is to work collaboratively with you to understand and make sense of your experiences and struggles while exploring more helpful coping strategies tailored to your needs.
