About me
I’m a Chartered Counselling Psychologist who works with adults aged 18 and over. I have many years of experience providing one-to-one psychological therapy and offer both short-term and longer-term support. Our work together can be more solution-focused or more explorative, depending on what feels most helpful for you. My aim is to offer a compassionate, non-judgemental, and safe space where you can feel heard and understood. I believe in working collaboratively to make sense of your experiences and challenges, while helping you find more helpful ways of coping and moving forward.

Who I Support
I often work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or the effects of early life trauma. I also support clients dealing with work or university-related stress and life transitions. In addition, I have a particular interest in eating and body image-related issues, as well as the emotional challenges that can come with becoming a new parent.

How I Work
My approach draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches. I can also offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and the FREED approach, which was developed specifically for young adults experiencing early-onset eating disorders.

Professional Background and Qualifications
– Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsy), University of East London
– MSc in Psychology, University of East London
– NHS mental health services, specialist charities, and a private mental health hospital in Central London
– Specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including CBT for eating disorders, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches

Beyond the Therapy Room
I love spending time with my family, doing yoga and Pilates to relax. In summer, I love being outdoors and escaping to the beach!
