I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience across a range of different settings, client groups, and age ranges and currently work with children, adolescents, parents, and adults both within the NHS and privately. My NHS role as a Specialist Paediatric Clinical Psychologist involves working with young people and their families within a children’s hospital. I support families in managing and living alongside a long-term health condition and am passionate about providing psychological support in healthcare settings. I also have experience in supporting healthcare professionals and colleagues working in highly stressed situations.

Who I Support
Adults and young people (10+)

Common concerns
I work with a broad spectrum of concerns, including but not limited to: anxiety, stress, low mood, physical health problems, sleep difficulties, and loss, grief, and bereavement.

Areas of clinical interest
Anxiety, OCD, physical health, grief and loss

How I Work
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focussed therapy (CFT), as well as Systemic and Narrative approaches, in order to think about what is most helpful for you. I often work integratively, meaning I can bring together these different approaches to collaboratively develop an individual plan tailored to your specific needs, values, and goals. Whether you are dealing with a specific issue or you are feeling more generally overwhelmed in your life and would like to find ways of feeling more grounded, psychological therapy can help you find clarity and new ways of moving forward. I value developing a strong therapeutic relationship, enabling you to feel at ease and feel heard in a warm and supportive way. My style is open and reflective to help you make sense of difficult emotional and life experiences, as well more practical, in helping you to develop and build coping tools and move towards change and growth.
