How I Work
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, informed by an understanding of how early experiences, relationships, and unconscious processes shape the way we experience ourselves and others. I also draw on Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT), Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness.
I offer a warm, safe, and thoughtful space for clients to explore their experiences in depth and at their own pace. Together, we work to deepen emotional understanding, recognise and shift unhelpful patterns, and resolve barriers that may be impacting life unconsciously. I support clients in achieving their therapy goals by offering insights, skills, and techniques that contribute to long-lasting change, helping them live the life they want to live.
