I am a Clinical Psychologist who has worked across a range of mental health settings (mostly in the NHS) to help people find ways to overcome some of the challenges in life. I believe in the importance of providing evidence based, high quality therapy, but I also believe that therapy should be a very human experience.

I have completed training in several psychological therapies including cognitive analytic therapy (CAT), eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), compassion focused therapy (CFT), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I am trained to work with a wide range of emotional distress including anxiety, self-esteem issues, low mood and depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, difficulties within interpersonal relationships as well as problems that might not fit into a neat box or ‘label’.

I adopt a kind and compassionate approach within therapy and ultimately, I work with people in therapy to help them find ways to live the life that they want, which can include overcoming barriers, and working out what is meaningful to them.
