About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist and have worked in the mental health and social care field for over 18+ years, in previous role such as social worker, youth worker and psychotherapist across the statutory, voluntary, and private sectors. I have late-diagnosed dyslexia and enjoy working with individuals with, or who suspect they may be neurodivergent.

My approach creates a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you can explore thoughts and emotions, and sometimes playfulness (depending on age and developmental stage). It is important that clients feel their voice and experiences are heard and understood, and that their strengths are acknowledged. I also work closely with parents and families, offering parent-child work and individual parent sessions, providing thoughtful and compassionate support.

How I Work
I integrate various models into my work, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), EMDR and systemic approaches, that honour your unique background, identity, and lived experiences and encourage your journey towards growth. In our sessions, we will identify the root patterns holding you back, collaboratively create a road map of your experiences (formulation) and develop and introduce coping mechanisms that you can use independently in your daily life. I adapt psychological tools to align with your personal style, helping you to navigate depression and anxiety, develop an understanding of your identity and emotions, and to unmask without judgment. We will work together at your pace to build practical and empowering strategies that respect your autonomy.

Previous clients have reported the following therapeutic benefits within 8 sessions with me:
• reduced anxiety
• increased self-acceptance
• increased self-confidence
• better understanding of their identity and others
• seeing things from a different perspective
• shifting unhelpful patterns that no longer help them today
• increased joy and optimism
• improved personal relationships
• courage to make decisions and self-advocate
