I have worked in the NHS for over 10 years, providing psychological approaches across the lifespan in both mental health and medical settings. I specialise in supporting individuals to adjust to physical health conditions and their impact. In the NHS, I have worked in specialist teams for complex medical care (including chronic pain, migraine and cluster headache) and have worked with difficulties associated with both visible and invisible illness and disability. I equally have experience of working with other difficulties such as anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I am trained within various approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

I believe therapy should feel right for you: I aim to ensure that we are working on goals that are most important to you and to tailor our sessions so that you can feel at ease and comfortable with the process, including any adjustments in order to accommodate your physical health needs.
